OARC now runs two clinics in Bhubaneswar — the original centre in Saheed Nagar and a second centre in Sailashree Vihar. If you’re booking your first appointment and aren’t sure which one to choose, here’s how to decide, based on where you live in the city and which doctor you’d like to see.

OARC Saheed Nagar — the main centre

The Saheed Nagar centre at A/90 Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha 751006 is OARC’s original clinic, founded by Dr. Jyoti Ranjan Parida — Odisha’s first DM Rheumatologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP). This is where Dr. Parida personally consults, and it’s the centre most patients from central and eastern Bhubaneswar — areas like Saheed Nagar itself, Rasulgarh, Jaydev Vihar, Old Town, and the railway station side of the city — will find easiest to reach.

If you specifically want to consult Dr. Parida, or if this is your first visit to OARC and you’re not sure which doctor to see, Saheed Nagar is the centre to book.

OARC Sailashree Vihar — the second centre

The newer centre at P-13/14, Sailashree Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar is where Dr. Debashis Maikap (DM Rheumatology) consults. This location is considerably more convenient for patients from Chandrasekharpur, Patia, KIIT Road, Infocity, and the northern parts of Bhubaneswar, saving a long cross-city drive for a routine consultation or follow-up.

Dr. Maikap is trained in the same DM Rheumatology specialty and follows the same OARC treatment protocols, so patients in the Chandrasekharpur–Patia belt don’t need to travel to Saheed Nagar unless they specifically want to see Dr. Parida.

Which centre should you pick?

Choose Saheed Nagar if: you live in central or eastern Bhubaneswar, you want to consult Dr. Jyoti Ranjan Parida specifically, or this is your very first OARC visit and you’d like to start with the main centre.

Choose Sailashree Vihar if: you live in Chandrasekharpur, Patia, or the KIIT/Infocity belt, or you’re a follow-up patient of Dr. Debashis Maikap.
